One place turned Steve down - they felt insurance would not pay enough.
One place we turned down - we felt it was a depressing facility.
Now the Case Worker is looking at options. Like all the employees we have worked with at St. Joe's, she is amazing. She is working to find a good facility for Steve.
Steve is still at St. Joe's and will receive his chemo on Wednesday.

I'm so glad you have this blog so we can keep up on how Steve is doing. I hope you find a good place for him because I know some of them are NOT so good. Sounds like St. Jo's has given really good care. Tell him "Hi". Love, KATHY (Adair)

ReplyDeleteI just want you to know how wonderful you are. Sometimes at night I think about you and just pray that you will continue to be sustained through this huge trial. Your loving hands and gentle ways will always be remembered by Stephen and all the family. You are in my prayers.
